Position: IT Field Engineer
Responsibilities:
As an IT Field Engineer at Computer Solutions Wales, you will play a pivotal role in providing onsite break/fix support, conducting basic installations, and ensuring our customers' IT environments run seamlessly. Your responsibilities will include:
- Updating and completing Field Engineer support tickets within SLA
- Performing scheduled contract visits and documenting relevant information
- Troubleshooting onsite IT issues, providing top-notch customer service
- Installing and configuring new hardware and software at customer sites
- Identifying opportunities to upsell products and services to existing customers
- Building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Providing cover for support teams when required within the Network Operations Centre
Qualifications:
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills (written and verbal)
- Fault analysis and prioritization skills
- Proven experience with technologies such as Windows Server, Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, etc.
- Familiarity with Microsoft MCP (Windows Server 2012 and above)
- Desire to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment
